If any of the above criteria apply to the steel door you require be sure to choose a fire exit / emergency exit door. Our steel fire exit doors and emergency exit doors are avaialble as standard or heavy duty security doors and are also available as a single steel door or double steel doors. The fire exit door/emergency exit door does not include a locking system as standard it is “blank” steel door and therefore requires an additional locking system to hold it secure. We can supply the following door furniture for your blank steel door.

CE rated single or three point locking crash bars for use on the inner door leaf, we can also provide a pre installation fitting service for a small additional charge if required.

CE rated external lockable handle can be fitted to the steel fire exit/emergency exit door if external access is required, the handle is designed to open the crash bar, whilst operation of the crash bar will override the lock, this can also be pre installed for a small additional charge if required.

We can also supply and fit telescopic friction stays to enable the steel emergency exit door/fire exit door to be kept ajar if or when required.

Our steel fire exit doors have adjustable steel door frame covers, they are available in two width sizes 880mm wide (to suit openings up to 940mm) and 980mm wide (to suit openings up to 1040mm) both are 2075mm high have a rockwool filling and are 56 minutes fire rated. The steel door has a thermal U value of 1.6.
